The Poteau Theatre is located on the first site of the Tower Drive-In, which since the early-1970’s was moved adjacent to the new Porteau Theatre. Tickets for the drive-in were actually purchased at a drive-thru on the rear of this theatre. The Poteau Theatre became a triplex showing first run films. It was closed around 2021.

The Poteau Theatre was built in the late-1970s on the Tower Drive-In’s original site. When the building of the Poteau Theatre began construction in the late-1970s, the entirety of the Tower Drive-In was relocated several feet behind its original location.
This theatre seems to have closed around 2021.
