The New Lyceum Theatre was opened on October 25, 1928. A small gem of a theatre in colonial Chestertown, Maryland. This theatre is unassuming and nestled in so discreetly that if you blink, you’ll miss it. Around 1946 it was renamed Chester Theatre.
On March 15, 1991 it was restored to its original lush colors, this theatre was reopened as the Prince Theatre, to allow for rentals, live performances as well as movies.
