Located in Atwater, to the north-west of Merced, CA. The Atwater Theatre was operating prior to 1929, when it was listed with 300 seats. In 1943, it was listed with a seating capacity of 367. In 1950 & 1952, the seating capacity is consistant with 450 seats.
