In Sherwood, Oregon there lies a quaint little theater on the corner of 1st and Pine street called The Robin Hood Theater. This theater has been an extremely popular place since its construction in 1946.
It has served as a theater for both movies and for the showing of theatrical performances by the Schools of sherwood, Oregon.
Unfortunately, this theater is closed between 1999-2000 and there is no designated date as to when it will re-open.
“My father works for the city of Sherwood and I was told that the structure took on damage during the last earthquake that hit Oregon and that they are hesitant to renovate or rebuild the theater because they say that it is too dangerous.
“If you live in the area close to this town I encourage you to help keep the history of this city alive by convincing the City Council to rebuild the Robin Hood theater to its original grandeur of the 1940’s.”
