This opened as Cinema World – Hickory Plaza on April 12th, 1990.

Taken over by Carmike Cinemas in 1994. The mall was renamed Hermitage Plaza in 1990.

Changed to showing second-run features after PTC opened Shenango Valley Cinemas.
