The second drive-in theatre in Greenville, the Meadowbrook Drive-In opened around 1954 on Mumford Road (Route 5). It was located approximately where River Park North is now located. It was operated by Max Reinhardt, Exhibitors Service.

The Meadowbrook Drive-In closed in August 1979, shortly before the Pitt Theatre downtown burned. The Meadowbrook Drive-In was demolished by 1982.
