“UNTINGTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — A new company has officially purchased and will be renovating the old Marquee Cinemas property at Huntington’s Pullman Square.
While the Marquee Cinemas may be closing, City of Huntington officials announced Tuesday that Icon Cinemas has purchased the company.
Stetson Snell, CEO of the Texas-based company, and city officials say they’re excited to bring new life to a property that holds so many memories for local film enthusiasts.
“We’ll have 14 state-of-the-art screens with electric heated recliner chairs and food tables. We’re putting in 10 lanes of duck pin bowling, and 75 state-of-the-art arcade games with a redemption arcade room, so everybody can get prizes and everything like that. And we’re also doing a beer and wine and daiquiri bar,” Snell said."
