This was a General Cinema operation in the Westwood Mall which opened on April 2, 1976 with Sean Connery in “Robin and Marion” showing in Screens II & III and Robert Redford in “3 Days of the Condor” showing in screen I. It was taken over by Cineplex Odeon on May 24, 1991. The theater was closed in 1996 as the mall was converted to an office park. Currently, this is the Southwest Corporate Center.

Only went to this theater once, back in 1978 to see Animal House. I seem to remember walking up to the 2nd level of the mall to get to the theater, but being over 30 years don’t know if I can trust my memory. If anyone out there remembers going here or worked there it would be great to fill in some of the details on this cinema.
This opened as the Westwood Fashion Place Cinema I-II-III on April 2nd, 1976, and closed in 1996. Grand opening ad posted.
Taken over by Cineplex Odeon on May 24th, 1991 and Loews on January 17th, 1992. Ads posted.
