Opened by Commonwealth Theatres on December 21, 1984. One of the trio of ‘Cooper’ circular multiplexes in the Denver suburbs. Featuring a 70mm projector, the theatre was finally operated by United Artists until it closed on October 3, 1999. Like its sister theatres, the Cooper 6 is now a church.

Tinseltoes – it looks like the theater in the box office mag is still around. Its not this theater but one located in a shopping center around 9301 W 58th Ave. You can see it close to 57th Ave. The carport the article describes is still visible. Dont know any details about it.. but its still up!
The Boxoffice article references the long-gone Arvada Plaza theatre, in a dilapidated shopping center about five miles south of the former UA Coooper 6.
Opened December 21st, 1984.
The initial operator was Commonwealth, not United Artists.
Grand opening ad posted. It opened the same day as the Mann Green Mountain 6 in Lakewood.
Closed October 3rd, 1999 after everyone went to the new megaplex cinemas.
