The BIG L Theatre is located in Town Square, Lancaster, TX. The Grand Theatre was opened prior to 1941, and was closed sometime around the late-1980’s or early-1990’s.
The inside is gutted but the balcony still remains as well as some of the stage. The seats (not all but quite a few) are still inside, tucked under the balcony as at one time, it was to be renovated but that never came to be. The roof was damaged during the 1994 tornado but that has been repaired.
It is for sale, waiting for the right person(s) to come along to complete the renovation/remodeling. Possibly, as a thought, making this once ‘Grand Theatre’ a live venue & even possibly a dinner theatre.

Update! – Came across a 1954 Photo of this Theatre. It was called the Lancaster Theatre. The Name change came later, to the BIG L Theatre.. Not sure what time frame the name change occured…
