The Sunset Drive-In was opened on October 4, 1950 with Donald O'Connor in “Curtain Call at Cactus Creek”. It was operated by Joe J. Nickolick & C.A. Moore. It made it into the 1980’s before succumbing to a small strip mall named Sunset Plaza. The sign was moved to Winslow, Ind for another drive-in effort which was unsuccessful.
