Closed in mid-1999.

Theater opened as the North 4, later changing to the Newmarket Mall 4.

This theater is actually in Hampton. The Newmarket theater across Mercury Blvd is in Newport News.

It might not have “played for about two years”, but the Original “STAR WARS” did play for 62 WEEKS, that’s not too bad a run!
