Located in the Catia district to the west of Caracas. The Cinema Lago was part of the Centro Comercial Catia (Catia Shopping Centre) and was opened in 1979. It was closed in 1991 and lay unused for a while.
By March 2007 it was in use by the Brazilian based United Church of the Kingdom of God.
