The Desert 12 was built on the site of the Desert 5 Drive-In which had closed in 1988. The Desert 12 was opened on November 11, 1988. It was expanded to 16 screens on November 26, 1993, becoming the Desert 16. It was closed on November 27, 2000 and has been demolished.

Went here one time to see “Postcards From The Edge” with my aunt in 1990.

Available info suggests opening was 11/11/1988.
