The Drive-In was opened July 30, 1947. It was renamed SkyVue Drive-In in 1949. It closed in the late-1960’s or early-1970’s. Now demolished.

This theater was located about one mile east of the Tower Drive-In on US Highway 64 (now US 64 Alternate) East, heading towards Tarboro. In its final years a skating rink was built next door called Sky-Vue Skateland; this still stands but I believe the skating rink has since closed.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 2930 North Raleigh Street.
This opened as Drive-In on July 30th, 1947 and renamed SkyVue in 1949 when the Tower Drive-In opened up. Small grand opening ad in the photo section.
