The Southpark Cinemas opened as a 6-screen movie theatre on March 3, 1989. It was initially operated by Cineplex Odeon followed by Neighborhood Theatres and finally Regal.
The Southpark 6 Cinemas closed in 2007 when Regal opened the Southpark Ball Stadium 16.

Open in 1990 under Cineplex Odeon. Neighborhood Theatres took over operations in 1995 after Cineplex Odeon folded. Regal Cinemas operated it from 1995 until its closing in 2007 when Regal opened the newer and flashier Southpark Mall Stadium 16 that same year.
This opened on March 3rd, 1989 by Cineplex Odeon. Grand opening ad posted.
