This cinema opened on June 29th, 2005 by Le Cinemas Guzzo. In July 2007, Vince Guzzo caught persons cam-cording “Pirates of the Caribbean”. An IMAX screen was installed on May 25th, 2012 and became the first venue in the world to have two IMAX screens with the second one opening in July 2012.
Originally Famous Players tried to open a theatre on the site in 1996 and Guzzo in 1999-2000. It is the largest cinema in the Guzzo chain.

This theatre’s opening movies include War of the Worlds (La Guerre Des Mondes), Herbie: Fully Loaded (La Coccinelle: Tout Equipée), Bewitched (Ma Sorcière Bien-Aimée), Land of the Dead, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (M. et Mme. Smith), Batman Begins (Batman: Le Commencement), and L'Enquete Corse. Rebound opened on July 1.
