Located in St. Albans to the west of Charleston, W.V. near the junction of Winfield Road and Route 60. The Valley Drive-In opened July 23, 1948 with John Garfield in “Body and Soul”. It was still operating in 1957. It was demolished in the early-2000’s and is now an 84 Lumber yard.

Goggle Earth from 2012. The screen tower is still standing yet. It is an 84 lumber company now. The 1996 aerial shows in might be still be open yet?
On Bing Maps in Birds Eye, if you rotate the view you can see the front of the screen. On it are the words “Now Showing 84 Lumber”
It appears that the theater was demolished in the early 2000s. So it may’ve closed in the 1990s.
I posted a recent picture of the front of the screen in the photo section.
