Twin theater located in small shopping center in North Rome, NY on Black River Boulevard. I worked there as a doorman/concessionaire while in high school in early-1970’s.

There were no ‘screens’ - movies were projected onto the white walls in front of the theater, the speakers underneath on the floor.

It was closed September 3, 1987 with Patrick Dempsey in “Can’t Buy Me Love” & Richard Dreyfuss in “Stakeout”.

I worked at this theater in 1972. Good job for high school student(s). First movies that played when I started work were “Deliverance” and “Maid In Sweden”. Memorable showings of “Mark Of The Devil”, “Shaft” and “Concert For Bangladesh”. They paid us in CASH!
