Located to the east of Birmingham city centre. The Ashted Row Picture House was opened 5th December 1912 with 1,000 seats, and was designed by architect Archibald Hurley Robinson. It was owned and operated by Aston Villa footballer William Devey.
It was modernised in 1934 and renamed New Ashted Row Cinema for a while. The Ashted Row Picture House was closed in 1958, and has been demolished.
