Opened in 1971 as a twin, it had become a quad by 1980. After a succession of operators, it closed as a cinema around 2000. After closing, one auditorium was remodeled for live performances and the theater was briefly known as the Palm Center for the Performing Arts, but this did not last long, and the building closed again. After the entire shopping center in which the theater was located was sold in 2005, the building was demolished.
