Opened on May 5, 2000. Originally operated by Midwest Theatres, it was acquired by Maple Grove, MN-based Odyssey Entertainment when Odyssey acquired the CineMagic group, when Midwest went bankrupt in 2011. (This group of CineMagic theaters should not be confused with the similarly-named Cinemagic theaters operated by Zyacorp in the New England area). The CineMagic 7 is located in the Oak Park Mall.
In spite of its location in a distressed mall, Odyssey made a substantial investment in the theater by converting it to all-digital projection in 2012. It was closed on February 21, 2021.
