According to Los Angeles Times advertisements, the So Cal Cinemas Movie Experience opened at this location on February 16, 1996.
On July 26, 2002 it came under the banner of Krikorian Premiere Theatres in LA Times listings. The Inland Daily Bulletin noted in October of 2004 that plans were in motion to upgrade the theater and add four more screens. This never happened probably due to Harkins new Chino Hills theater, which opened in November of 2006.
The theater closed on June 22, 2008 and a fence went up around it. On June 19, 2009 it was reopened again as the Cinema Saver 12 but by June 1, 2010 it was closed again and the fence went up. In 2012, according to assessor reports, the vacant building was still owned by George Krikorian. It was demolished in January 2016.

Site is now Chico Grand Medical Offices.
FYI The building east of this location (also medical offices) was the additional 4 screens…BUT Harkins beat SoCal to it! Besides Chino Avenue isn’t as congested as Grand Avenue so there you have it folks!
