Located in the east of the city centre on the main road leading to the Port of Valencia. The Cine Monumental Levante was opened in 1943. It has a narrow entrance, with the auditorium set way back and alongside the side-street Carrera del Vaixell. Seating was provided for 1,100 in the orchestra and 400 in the balcony.
The Cine Monumental Levante was closed in 1991, and was converted into a gymnasium named Forma Sport. It was last used as a nightclub named Millenium. By July 2008, this had closed and the auditorium was roofless, with only the steel girders which once supported the balcony and the lower part of the side-walls remaining.
