This drive-in opened on Friday, July 2, 1948 with Ronald Reagan in “Stallion Road” & Dorothy Malone in “Frontier Days”. It was located across from Griggs Dam, in the Upper Arlington suburb of Columbus, Ohio. It was part of the Miles chain of drive-ins. The Scioto Drive closed after the 1965 season.

The final day for Miles Scioto was 12/26/65. The final film was BECKET. The theater was later developed as a rental community called THE LANDINGS. (Source: Columbus Dispatch Archives via Newsbank)
