Opened in downtown Honolulu on December 3, 1910, the Bijou Theatre presented both motion pictures and vaudeville acts. It was taken over by the Consolidated Theatres chain on September 26, 1912. It was torn down in 1921. In its place was the New Hawai'i Theatre, now simply known as the Hawai'i Theatre.
