Parrvilion Cinema

Located in St. Helens, Lancashire at the corner of Jackson Street and Parr Avenue in the Parr district of the town. I believe the Parrvilion Cinema opened in 1911. In the 1934 edition of Kinematograph Yearbook it is listed with 700 seats, and was equipped with a British Talking Pictures(BTP) sound system. It was closed around 1956/1957, was converted into a bingo club in the early-1960’s.

The building is currently used by Alfred T. Free, glass merchant.
