Ray Wilmert, owner of the Motor-Vu Drive-In, opened the Crest Drive-In on May 23, 1952.
On May 28, 1956 the Montana Standard reported the death of Mr. Wilmert in an auto accident. The theater was absent from the Montana Standard listing in the 1957 season and was presumed closed. Wilmert’s Motor-Vu remained opened and was left to his heirs
The Crest Nursing Home now occupies the site.

The Crest Drive-In is listed as open in 1970.
The 1976 IMPA still listed the Crest Motor Vu, capacity 470.
Tiny grand opening ad in the photo section.
The late 1950’s closing date is probably accurate, a 1960 aerial photo shows the drive-in completely demolished without a trace left.
