Agoura Hills Stadium 8

Mann Theatres opened their Mann 8 Theatres on August 24, 1990. The Agoura Hills Acorn noted that Calabasas resident Lynden Golin purchased the former Mann Theatres Agoura 8 on November 14, 2008.

At the time this brought the number of locations of Mr. Golin’s Regency Theatres to 18. The Ventura County Star reported on May 3, 2011 that after five months of remodeling the theater held a grand opening.

The major addition was stadium seating and other amenities, which gave it flagship status in the Regency chain.

In early-2013 Regency added DBOX seating.

“The Rocketeer” was presented at the Mann 8 in 35mm THX Dolby Stereo beginning on Friday June 21, 1991.
