Empire Theatre

The Empire Theatre opened in 1922. Beginning in 1970, the 600-seat single-screen cinema was owned by Famous Players associate United Theatres (Cinemas Unis).

The Empire Theatre closed in 1981 and its space is now occupied by a department store, La Maison Simons.
