As a Cinema, the last film shown was in October 1975 and was Disney’s “Song of the South” coupled with “The Incredible Journey”. (More photos etc can be found in an album on my Facebook group “Romsey Revisited”)

Internet source credits Mr Robin A. Thomas F.R.I.B.A (born 1881) of Cosham Hampshire as Architect and gives opening date as 14th December 1931.
