I think the Riverside Twin was actually further down the street(in a different strip mall), they built this one as a new bigger multiplex further down Riverside near Pleasant Valley(essentially to compete with the Aquarius which is further down on Pleasant Valley). It is now a Chinese buffet restaurant.
This was opened by AMC on December 5th, 1986. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
