Carmike opened the Hollywood Connection in May of 1997 with 10 screens. Three additional screens were added on December 17, 2010 with the name changing to the Hollywood Ritz 13.

This theatre is not very well taken care of the screens arent very good anymore

The three-screen expansion of this multiplex for Carmike Cinemas in 2010 was accompanied by a complete renovation of the existing theaters. The project was designed by the Chattanooga-based architectural firm Artech Design Group.

The Hollywood Connection and Ritz cinemas opened on May 23rd, 1997.
