The Rialto Theatre was the first theatre Paul DeMordaunt opened with his partner Hugh Drennen in Blackfoot in 1920. Mr. DeMordaunt said in an interview with the Idaho State Historic Society that it was just a storeroom to which they added seats, a screen and a projector. The theatre also had a small orchestra, which played to the musical score, which came with the film.
The Film Daily Yearbook of 1928 listed it with 300 seats. The theatre closed when DeMordaunt and Drennen opened the Nuart Theatre in 1930.
