The Montgomery Mall Theatre opened August 13, 1970 and was operated by ABC Florida State Theatres. It was a single screen seating 800 and was equipped for 70mm presentation. Martin Theatres took over operations and twinned the theatre December 23, 1977. It closed in the late-1980’s and was demolished for expansion of the parking lot for the mall. Now the mall is completely closed and considered a dead mall.
