The Temple Theater opened on January 6, 1916 with the movie “Camille” starring Clara Kimball Young. In August 1919 it was purchased by the Masons, was remodeled, and enlarged. It continued in use as a movie theatre. The Temple Theater is listed in the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook as closed with 250 seats. It is not listed in the 1950 edition.

This opened as a playhouse on January 6th, 1916. Grand opening ad in the photo section. More to come about this theatre.
