The Lebanon Drive-In was open in the late-1940’s. The car capacity was 300 cars. The drive-in was operated by Ornstein Theatres and closed in the mid to late-1950’s. It was demolished in the late-1980’s.

The location of this Drive-in is West of the Hampton Inn at 1125 Loretto Rd, Lebanon, KY 40033. Highway 49 and Veterans Memorial Highway.
The entrance and exit roads are still there as well as a couple of ramps toward the back of the property.
In Google Maps it is the square shaped property just north of the Hampton Inn, pretty much unrecognizable as a former DI. The real question is why the heck is there a Hampton Inn there?
I just recently looked through a few aerials, and I just found out that the Lebanon Drive-In stood abandoned for more than three long decades until ultimately demolishing in the late 1980s.
