The Globe Theatre opened November 5, 1912. By March of 1915 the name had been changed to the Oregon Theatre. A Wurlitzer organ was shipped to the Oregon Theatre in September of 1919 and was removed in 1925.
The Oregon Theatre was owned by George B. Guthrie who would later own the Elsinore Theatre (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Oregon Theatre closed as a silent movie theatre April 14, 1929.
