The Regal Cinema was opened prior to 1944. It was independently operated and had a 30 feet wide proscenium. It was equipped with a RCA sound system. The cinema boasted a café attached.
In 1980, the Regal Cinema was operated as a cinema and part time bingo club. In recent years the foyer has been in use as the Regal Lounge Bar, but this has now closed. In 2014, the building is empty and unused. By 2023 it had been restored and reopened as a bar.
