Universum-City

The Universum Filmtheater was opened in 1953 with 940-seats. It was re-named City Filmtheater in 1960 with the seating capacity reduced to 750. It was equipped with a Cinemiracle 3-strip projection system. In the 1970’s it was multiplexed into 5-screens.

Operated by the Kinopolis chain, the Universum-City has seating in the auditoriums for 183, 172, 60, 86 & 225.
