A twin screen drive-in located on Hesperian Boulevard in-between the cities of Union City and Hayward, it was a great place for exploitation and occasional adult fare. It was opened on May 27, 1970, operated by United Artists. Opening movies were: “Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice” playing with “Goodbye Columbus” & “MASH” playing with Frank Sinatra in “The Detective”. Later taken over by United Artists. In later years, it instituted a triple-bill policy with admission at $1.50 per carload.
Closed in the 1980’s, the property sat vacant for years until it was finally demolished and now a Pepsi bottling plant sits in its place.
