This theatre opened on October 24, 1991 and I managed it for 3 months from May 1992 until October 1992. Standard movie complex with the former layout of the Premiere Cinemas built in Mansfield, Ohio and Clarksville, Indiana. The Premiere Cinemas were sold to Cinemark in 1989.

The theatre was built by Regal Cinemas during its original start up period.
It was a shame to see this theater built, go through some ups and downs, and be torn down in a relatively short time. I saw a lot a of budget screenings here, and would often see movies, such as Silence of the Lambs and Misery, multiple times because of the price and convenience. But I also know this is not a great neighborhood, which likely contributed to its fate.
The Sheffield Square Cinema 10 first opened its doors on October 24, 1991 as a second-run house. The opening was also sponsored by WMMS, who broadcasted live on opening day.
