The Liberty Theatre was opened December 16, 1917. It seated 800 and was no longer listed in 1944. It had reopened by 1950. The site is now a KIA Dealership.

Unless Market St. was previously named Liberty St. the Motion Picture Yearbook lists the theatre as lobacted on Market St. There is no Liberty St. in Akron today.

This opened on December 16th, 1917. Grand opening ads in the photo section.
