Located at 8 S. Howard Street (today renamed Dart Avenue) inside the Washington Hotel. The Empress Theater was opened on August 16, 1913 with a seating capacity of 250-seats. It was closed in 1921.

This opened on August 16th, 1913. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section.

This theater was actually located at 8 South Howard St., inside the Washington Hotel.
