“Princess Theater was at 123 South Chestnut Street from about 1922 to 1932, based on listings in city directories and phone books. It was operated as the Little Theater from about 1937 to 1944. A 1943 update to Sanborn FIMs reported "movies not in operation.” The theater was torn down to make way for the “new” bank and drive-thru."
reopened as Little on October 11th, 1935. Grand opening also in the photo section.
June 27th, 1919 grand opening ad as Princess in photo section.
The April 10, 1937, issue of The Film Daily mentioned that H. R. Wagner was operating the Majestic and Little Theatres in Seymour, Indiana. He had just had Sirocco blowers installed in both houses.
