The location of this Drive-in is actually further northeast of this address.
Carey Lane is the border of where the Drive-in stood.
Opened on 29/5/1953 with “Flat top”.
Grand opening ad posted.
Final performance: September 4th, 1983.
A closer address is 10116 Carey Ln, Garrison, MN.
I understand that Carey Lane didn’t exist when the drive-in did, but this address is right on the property. I was not able to use HWY-169 and get close.
A 1984 aerial still shows the drive-in intact. By 1991, the drive-in had been demolished and the trailer park put in.
It appears, though I cannot be sure, that a second story was added to the projection booth/concession stand to make it a office/house. It sits in the same location and has two small windows much like a projection booth.
