In Quebec Canadian Odeon were called Les Cinémas Odeon.

Both Canadian Odeon and Cineplex merged in July 1984, and the Cineplex Odeon identity was introduced the following year in 1985. The original triplex closed on March 9, 2000.

This was the last Rank-built Odeon theatre to be built in Canada opening on September 16th. 1977. The chain was sold in November 1977 to Canadian Theatres. Grand opening ads posted.
