The first listing I found on the Weston Theatre was it’s listing as open in 1931. There were a couple other theatres in Weston including the Deluxe Theatre, the Electric Theatre and the larger Garden Theatre. The Weston Theatre seated 225 and was listed as open in the late-1950’s.

The town’s tiny silent-era theatre had operated from 1915 by D.J. Bless to its end after a fire destroyed it on December 7, 1936. A new venue was built as the Weston Theatre.
Most likely closed on December 9, 1962 with “The Hanging Tree” and “The Last Time I Saw Archie”, but I cannot confirm if its the actual closing date.
