This former Gold Class Cinema, which originally opened on May 7, 2010, was bought by iPic Theaters in October of 2010. In fact, as reported in the Allen American, all Gold Class U.S. locations came under the control of iPic. In June of 2011 it was noted, “A series of recently-completed renovations has left the theater with a brand-new look and some innovative new features.”
Part of the makeover added The Salt Lounge, which has four pool tables and 19 flat screens and Tanzy Express, where food can be taken into the cinema. “In addition to the lobby area, every theater was completely renovated to accommodate the new layout. All of the theaters' projectors have gone digital, and four of them have 3D capability".
