The Skylark Drive-In opened on July 15, 1953 with George Montgomery in “Texas Rangers”. Car capacity was 300 cars. The screen was replaced in 1971 due to wind damage. The drive-in was operated by Commonwealth Theatres and was closed in 1972.

it wouldn’t make any sense to replace a drive-in screen to close the next year! i want to know where the info came from!
